My name is Yuchao Su, a Ph.D. student in Systems Laboratory at North Carolina State University, advised by Dr.Frank Mueller. Before joining the NCSU, I was fortunate to work with Prof. Yifan Sun at College of William & Mary, Prof. Quansheng Yang at Southeast University.

I am a PhD student at North Carolina State University (NCSU), focusing on computer architecture and specialized accelerators. My research explores the design of quantum simulation accelerators and sparse GEMM accelerators for high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.
Beyond quantum and scientific computing, I am also open to profiling and analyzing other application areas, such as robotics, to uncover bottlenecks and reduce overheads. My broader goal is to advance domain-specific accelerator architectures that improve performance and scalability across diverse computational domains.
